Blue Ocean Closures – gold startup on NyTeknik renowned 33-list

For the third consecutive year, Blue Ocean Closures has been listed by NyTeknik as one of Sweden’s 33 most innovative tech start-ups, making us a gold winner.

Since 2008 Sweden’s biggest tech media, with over a million monthly readers, has researched and published 33-listan, highlighting the country’s most promising technology startups within industries such as AI, energy, biotech and advanced materials.

While in different industries, all have in common that they have developed their own technology with commercial international potential. The start-ups are unlisted and can be maximum 7 years old. The maximum number of times a start-up can be selected for the 33-list is 3 years and businesses reaching that are awarded a gold status.

With our advanced deep forming technology to produce fiber-based closures for packaging and other components to replace plastics, Blue Ocean Closures has made significant accomplishments, and reaches gold status after being listed in 2023, 2024 and now 2025.
